PAWTUCKET, R.I. – The now fifth ranked women's track and field team picked-up three more Little East Conference weekly awards as All-American Wadeline Jonathas (Gonaives, Haiti) earned Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors, while the 4x400-meter relay earned Relay Team of the Week honors.
At the MIT Sean Collier Invite, Jonathas set a new program record in the long jump, and moved into first place in the country with a jump of 19-02.00 feet. She would also win the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.66 seconds, which has her sitting second in Division III.
The 4x400-meter relay team moved into seventh in the country as the team of Jonathas, Taylor Driggers (Lisbon, Conn.), Lexy Bean (Danvers, Mass.) and Olivia Burnes (Paxton, Mass.) recorded a combined time of 3:53.65. That time was almost 17 seconds faster than the second-place relay team at the Sean Collier Invite.
